So I stopped playing Mercenary as a support… and everything changed. In this video, I break down one of the most aggressive and high-damage Mercenary builds in Yotei Legends. This gunman / desperado-style build focuses on raw firepower, constant pressure, and insane burst damage—making it perfect for raid bosses and high-level encounters.

Instead of relying on utility and invisibility, this setup uses the Lightning Tanegashima for near-infinite firing and the Storm Tanzutsu for stagger, control, and burn damage. Combined with thrown weapons, fast cooldowns, and Energizing Smite resets, this build keeps you attacking non-stop.

Spirit Throw Mercenary Build

This is my go-to Mercenary build — not the highest kill-count setup, but easily one of the most fun and sustainable builds you can play.

The entire build revolves around:

⚔️ Bone weapons & Spirit Throw
💣 Ghost tools spam (Kunai, Bombs, Caltrops)
☠️ Affliction Caltrops for poison + weaken
🔁 A powerful cooldown loop that lets you keep attacking nonstop

Once everything starts flowing, you’ll be: ✔️ Constantly throwing weapons ✔️ Spamming caltrops and bombs ✔️ Building spirit fast ✔️ Resetting cooldowns over and over

It’s a super satisfying gameplay loop that works great even in solo platinum survival.
